Teen Parent Program

Exalt Academy of Southwest Little Rock is proud to offer a Teen Parent Program designed to help student parents continue their education while receiving the support they need to thrive academically and personally.

We understand the unique challenges teen parents face, and are committed to creating a supportive environment where students can pursue their goals without having to choose between their education and their child.

Our Mission

 
At Exalt, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed.The Teen Parent Program exists to empower young parents to graduate, build stable futures, and achieve their personal and professional goals while providing a strong foundation for their children.
 

Who Can Participate?

 
The program is open to eligible teen parents enrolled at Exalt Academy.

High School Dress Code

To ensure a focused and interruption-free instructional day, students must adhere to the following dress code requirements:

Shirts:

Navy blue, grey, or white short-sleeved polo shirts

Navy blue or white oxford shirts with collar


Pants:
Khaki (tan), navy blue or grey dress pants or jeans

Prohibited styles include: Low-rise, cargo, carpenter, wide-legged, overly tight or baggy pants. Pants made of denim or corduroy.

  • Pants must not have any tears or holes, even if material is underneath.


Shorts:
Navy blue or khaki shorts are allowed until October 31st and after Spring Break.  

Shorts are not permitted after Thanksgiving Break until March 1st

Shorts must be Knee-length or longer


Belts:
Brown or black belts are recommended. 

Belts should be professional in appearance, solid in color, and not overly wide.

Belt buckles must be professional and not oversized or distracting. 

If a belt is not worn, pants must fit correctly and not sag or show any undergarments.


Socks and Leggings:

Socks can be any color and may be patterned, provided they are school-appropriate. 

Leggings, to be worn under skirts, should be white, navy blue, or black with no patterns. 


Shoes:
Shoes may be of different colors as long as they are safe and not distracting.

Prohibited footwear includes:
  • Flip-flops, open toed-sandals ,Crocs, slippers, or clogs ,Shoes with wheels or lights , Low or high heels , Oversized shoes or house shoes


Backpacks:
Backpacks for HS must be clear and kept out of aisleways and off the floor. ○ 

Purses must be small, like a clutch - without straps 



Water bottles must be clear, allowing the contents to be seen
